The school was recently awarded a certificate by the Water Corporation in recognition of our achievements as a Waterwise school.
At a recent assembly Dr Ken Collins, representing the Rotary Club of Freshwater Bay presented the school with a Buddy Bench.
On Friday 9th June 2017 staff and students dressed up in their best pirate costumes to raise money for The Kid’s Cancer Project.
The great challenge for educators these days is not only about teaching students how to learn and acquire skills in an increasingly complex world, but also about how to help them become people of good character.
On November 10th, students gathered in the undercover area to watch the year level winners compete in the Junior, Middle and Upper years Letters and Numbers competition.
On Wednesday 26th October, we had a special visitor – Captain Cleanup!
Students crunched their way through 22kg of apples, 8 kg of carrots, 3 kg of mandarins, 10 broccoli, 4 cauliflower, 4 celery heads and 2 kg of capsicum.
Students from Years 3, 4 and 6 were invited to be part of the consultation process to inform the Commissioner for Children and Young People of their views and ideas about school and learning.
25th & 27th of October. Approximately two weeks prior to the photo day every student will receive a Kapture Photography order envelope to bring home.
