Our Programs
Beckenham Primary School has a Visual Arts program. Visual Arts incorporates art, craft and design.
Students create visual representations inspired by artists work, stories, events and their own imagination. They develop perceptual and conceptual understanding, critical reasoning and practical skills through exploring and expanding their understanding of their world, and other worlds.
Students in Year 1 to Year 6 have a one-hour art lesson every week. These lessons encompass everything from drawing to ceramics, including the theory of the elements and principles of art, in accordance with the WA Curriculum.
