Art

Beckenham Primary School has a Visual Arts program. Students in Year 1 to Year 6 have a one hour art lesson every week. These lessons encompass everything from drawing to ceramics, including the theory of the elements and principles of art, in accordance with the WA Curriculum.

A celebration of the students’ creations occurs with the annual Art Show, usually in term 1. The teacher is always happy to welcome parents to help or just to see what their children have been doing in art.
